From May to June, Concordia’s Department of Education’s Graduate Student Association is hosting a series of online and interactive workshops entitled: Conversations that Include. The workshops are designed to support an inclusive classroom environment and facilitate peer-to-peer interaction through task creation.
There are two workshop types:
(1) Pedagogical Innovation – developing a teaching and learning activity or tool for immediate use in the classroom.
(2) Teacher Reflection – engaging instructors to consciously think about a sociopolitical topic using a reflective activity that can also be extended to classroom use.
Workshop leaders will provide attendees with materials to complete the activity and will include a sample evaluation rubric.
