DOEIGSA held its second General Assembly of the 2014-15 academic year on Friday, Feb 6. Highlights included the election of 3 new student reps, a commitment to take the FRC under student control, and stances against government budget cuts and in favor of free education. The full minutes are available by clicking here.
Please note that, according to our bylaws, decisions enacted at assemblies with moral quorum (instead of quorum) are subject to contention for 2 weeks following the publication of the GA’s minutes, and can be overturned by 5 or more association members.
After the GA, DOEIGSA members headed to Irish Embassy for celebratory beverages, and some of the photos from the evening are posted here. (If you’re uncomfortable with having your picture here, please let us know and we’ll remove it right away!)
